On this page MTS will be
providing Tips and Tricks,
some common and some uncommon. I'd like to ask you to send me some
of your favorite Tips and Tricks that you've learned over the years
- whether it's with OS X, Windows XP, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign,
or anything else.

• You can press F11 on your keyboard and all of the open applications will move off of the screen so that you can access your hard drive or CD. Press F11 again and the open applications come back to your screen just as they were.
• On the OS X Dock, all applications can be moved to the dock by just dragging the original application icon to the Dock; that will make the alias and name it correctly. All documents or servers can also be moved to the Dock, but they go to the right of the straight line (near the Trash).
